Security Service Federal Credit Union - Corporate Events Center
Includes cafeteria, full kitchen & catering kitchen.

Overview:
This projects included delivery & installation of the serving lines, cooking equipment, exhaust hoods, walk-in coolers & freezers and custom stainless steel trim. The kitchen is located on the 3rd level above the parking structure. Without the use of a freight elevator, our team used a skytrak to lift every piece of equipment to the kitchen level.

The Security Service Federal Credit Union corporate events and amenities center includes an employee cafeteria with 3 serving lines topped with Silestone® quartz surfaces, drop-in refrigerated and heated wells, and Counter Craft’s HotFrost™ merchandiser: a dual tier counter top shelf that can be converted from frost to heat with the flip of a switch. The serving area also has a fully equipped cooking line for hot entrées and a Wood Stone pizza oven, beautifully highlighted with decorative tile. The crown jewel of the Cosper & Associates design is the Halton JES (Jet Extraction System) exhaust hood that covers the induction ranges at the daily specials line.

The scullery features a Hobart conveyor dish washer, PowerSoak pot washing system and Salvajor disposers.

The main kitchen cooking area features a stainless chef’s counter by Counter Craft, a utility distribution system and island exhaust hoods by Halton, and a full complement of cooking equipment by Vulcan, Groen, Cleveland, Rational and Blodgett. We provided prep equipment by Traulsen, Hobart, Winston and Texas Sheet Metal fabricated all the stainless tables and sinks.

The walk-ins by Thermo-Kool included a 26’ x 18’-8” cooler/freezer combo located in the main kitchen; a cooler in the catering kitchen and a trash cooler located in the loading dock. RDT manufactured the rack system which is located on the roof above the kitchen.
